How is this in 2024?
if i had this program on a pc i use just for network storage, will it speed up how fast i can copy to that pc from a different pc over a home network
Great review! very educational
You know real cars have a simple lever, with a key if you want it locked.
Yup, I had a few of those in the past.
Wifi 8 would be overkill because they said it will have 100 Gbps or even 200 Gbps wifi speed
That is insane, I haven't heard anything about it
I have the TP-LINK EB810V router. My Internet is 10gbps. The router range is weak. I don't see any reviews of the EB810V router or selling online.
Did not expect the 100 ft to be 1Gbps xD compared to your test with other wifi 7 archer and decos. Edit: I rechecked your vids and it seems only archer BE900 went beyong 1Gbps at 100ft xD
I was pleasantly surprised, most others arent that fast for the download speeds.
I need my glasses....tap tap tap tap ... Sorry... Tap tap tap tap I'm sure that the option was here... Tap tap
You missed the option of when you have 1.5gbit or higher internet wan with a 2.5 gbit LAN. You accomplish this by leaving the router DHCP, plug all Eeros 2.5e ports to your 2.5e switch, and set the Eeros to bridge mode. This assumes you have a router modem.
Isn't one of the selling points of the Pro 6e supposed to be its greater signal strength? Kinda disappointing at 100ft vs the others. The max 7 is just too expensive currently
Why not just have a lever on the glove box...
too easy
lol
It's actually like this for valet mode, it can stay locked.
I have a DECO system with 4 satellites that are performing well. Xfinity provided 1g service, so probably no need to bring this into the mix, but it's impressive for the price
Sir, question for you. On the router how many SSIDs can you create? Does it have a separate IOT network? Thank you in advance.
Unlike Asus's AiMesh standard, TP Link' mesh's standard doesn't let you connect their routers in a mesh system BY WIRE! 😢 And, by doing only in the repetear mode its mesh compatible routers - meaning a Wireless mesh connection - results in halving the speed to all the other secondary routers, compared in a wired mesh system(actually as access points).
What are you on about? I have the BE65 Mesh system and one node works perfectly fine over Ethernet 2.5gb, and a third node is on WiFi to the mesh system, my 6E devices easily get a gigabit in both nodes. I have gigabit internet.
I haven't tried with the archer but I don't see why that wouldn't work. There deco systems, I always try both wired and wireless connections and they work fine.
I have this one exact model I recently upgraded to wifi 7 after using stock ISP wifi 6 router that had so many issues and not being able to configure it to ipv6, overall the speeds are solid I have 1gbps down and 400 upload, but the range is a bit disappointing but again it's because my apartment has so many thick walls, I'm waiting for TP-Link to release pci e wifi 7 adapter since I wanna ditch using cable,
It's interesting cause that's not something I consider since I don't try IPv6 since everything for me is IPv4. Yeah thick walls are not good for wifi range.
Fun fact you can speak commands to it too
Yup, I mainly use voice to adjust AC or create a route somewhere
I love those little ipad things where is your located i needs a New one
Hey @landpet I loved the video and really appreciated the information and I was wondering if a TP-Link Deco BE63 BE10000 Two Pack would be more than sufficient for a home built in the 1960s that's 109.19 M² with brick outer walls and gyrock inner walls as the equipment my ISP provided me with which is a NetComm NF20MESH Wi-Fi 6 CloudMesh Gateway and a NetComm NS-02 Wi-Fi 6 CloudMesh Satellite has quite a few issues with range, speed, and connectivity as well as the occasional drop out or complete blunder and even though I'm only paying for 1GBPS I'd like to utilise all of that speed that I'm paying for and have equipment that's best suited for that task
Thanks! Yes 2 pack will be great, even if it's not perfect, it will be much better than your current setup.
Cheers @landpet I greatly appreciate you taking the time to respond and for the advice as it's helped me make an informed decision towards what I'm sure will be an amazing purchase and a phenomenal Wi-Fi 7 mesh system at this particular price point
I've had a horrible experience with the XT9 - incredibly unstable. It has now completely stopped working - resetting does nothing. The one positive is the 1 year warranty in which getting a refund through Amazon was an incredibly easy process. Still regret the many hours I spent on troubleshooting this though. Apparently a lot of Redditors are having similar issues.
I have an Apollo Pro and a Nami Burn E2 Mad. My only annoyance with the Apollo pro is the suspension and drum breaks. The Regan break is good at lower speed but the drum break are just not good for a scooter that goes up to 40mph. The rear suspension is so stiff that I feel every bump. The Nami on the other hand is like riding on a cloud.
Thanks for the feedback, never tried the Nami was wondering how good that was. I'm also curious about the new Wolf GT Pro and GTR
Found I could only get sound from my old HD Toshiba DVD/cd with optical cable. I want to connect a turntable, how do I do that with the 385? I have a RXV 661 that has a pre amp so I could use it if I had to.
Hello, what would be your recommendation? Between one of these 3 routers or the Reyee RG R6 considering the 2 pack costs $100. Thanks for the support.
Depends on your speeds. RG R6 is good if you want to have the 2 pack. If you live in a smaller place, then one router should be fine. From that point, it would depend what speeds your internet are. Reyee routers have pretty good range from what I remember
@@landpet I have below 1GB of internet, so I don't know what will be the most convenient option and because of the offer with Reyee RG R6.
OK. So biggist question I've had, once you buy it, do you have to pay for it monthly? If so how much? Oooor is this a wifi booster that connects to your network? I'm honestly new to this so bear with me
There are no fees once you buy it. But remember a router needs a modem with Internet to provide internet access. Routers job is really to take the internet signal coming from the modem and pass it on to your home devices either through ethernet or over wifi. That's a simplified explanation, there's a much more technical one since the router creates a NAT (Network Address Translation) which takes your WAN IP and creates a bunch of local IP Addresses and manages all the traffic in your home and provides internet access through the modem which typically does require a monthly subscription. If you watch this video, things will make a ton of sense: ua-cam.com/video/90BFxA2yEUY/v-deo.html
awesome tutorial ! subscribed and liked ! Thank you
Thanks for the sub!
I have mine on my back porch. It is on my WIFI system which may not get the best coverage. I do have an ethernet cable from my router plugged into a network switch there. My camera is powered by 110vac on my back porch. Can I also plug the camera's ethernet into my switch on my back porch to ensure a good connection?
Hey. When are you going to review the ASUS ZenWiFi BQ16 Pro mesh system?
I don't have it yet, so can't say yet but it's definitely on my radar.
At office - I have few desktop attached with ethernet port to switch & then modem, now i purchased 6 deco as well. So now what should my configuration? 1) modem -> main switch (16 port) -> main deco -> small switch (8 port) -> other deco ? 2) modem -> main deco -> main switch (16 port) -> small switch(8 port) -> other deco ? 3)modem -> main deco -> main switch (16 port) -> other deco ?
3:21 Am I bad in math or 22?
your phone have wifi 7?
Yes
Why don't you think about the security? TP-Link has a history of the backdoor thing, although it's cheap. Prices come with a reason. I never see a UA-camr who will think about it; privacy is a priority now, especially when you use it every day at home.
That little "pull" tab on the display, was that supposed to pull a screenprotector off? All that came off was the little "pull" tab.
Faq pro max
So how much faster do your tube videos load on your phone??? For home use I would rather have 2-$300 access points that were "only" 2.5 GbE with better coverage than extremely fast single point for home use. If you expect to routinely access 50GB+ files on a NAS wirelessly or have 400+ users, then maybe.......maybe. Not trying to be a hater but if it was $350 it would be a lot easier to take. The router, two access points and the POE switch are collectively $2,950. Seems pretty steep for a homeowner or small business that will probably never notice faster speeds outside of a speed test.
Thank you.
It blows my mind that a Wi-Fi kit with a router plus two satellites (Orbi 970) is currently $2,252 on Amazon, and it's hard for me to believe that it's worth that much money.
I have read somewhere that mesh does if WAN goes down. Is that true? Also, 36 Watts! Times three is over 100 Watts. No way am I going to burn 100 Watts 24/7 just for wifi.
Mine goes 24 mph!?
BE65 pro vs BE16000...both are for sale at Bestbuy for $799 which one should I get. I like them both. I am ATT fiber.
Both good, can’t go wrong either way assuming your internet speeds are less than 2.5Gbps. Be16000 has the advantage of quad band which can in theory handle more WiFi devices since there is an additional band. BE65 Pro can handle faster speeds
@@landpet Just my wife and I. Gaming (PS 5, Call of Duty and Diablo 4) and work. We have brick wall between my office with router and the rest of house.
We have 1 Gig Fiber but would likely up grade in the future to 2.
We will do wireless backhaul too
I want to know why does it have a little lock on it what is that for ?????
RCS stands for end-to-end encryption, which is a security feature in Google Messages that encrypts eligible messages and their attachments as they travel between phones. This prevents anyone, including Google and third parties, from reading the messages.
They want you to get your 3k scooter stolen so you end up buying another 3k scooter from them
Can be stolen easily
MAjority off ssd already does this !!! samsung 860 evo as a option to use 1gb or more off system ram and i get faster than nvme speeds !! this program is useless because the first time you write a file primo cache as to learn ,only the next trasnfers are fast !!! but who gonna keep transfer the same files back and fourth ?
On wireless backhaul, can both ports on the second be hooked up to devices simultaneously?
Yes, you can use all the ports
Needed the performance analysis - you delivered in spades! Great vid.
Glad it was useful! Thanks for the feedback!
Ood Afternoon buddy, I'm back again with another question. Let's say I get a TP-Link 2 pack like the AXE5400 can I still use my AC1200 meshes with it? Or even the Deco mesh X20 that already has 3 meshes. I just want to make Sure I'm covered, also since I already have a pair I don't want to Just Not use them if they can be used. Let me know please.
According to TP Link, all deco devices are compatible with each other. So as long as it’s a deco, it could be on the same network. Just a heads up though, sometimes more is less meaning you can actually get reduced performance if they’re too close to each other
10/4. I understand. I'm just wanting to make sure I'm covered because I drive trucks over the road which leads to my wife etc to the house whose skills aren't like me nor the patience. I Thanks you bro. I gotta pick one soon.
Do you have your 2.4ghz/5ghz ssid the same as your 6E ssid?
Not for this Deco
Do you have a dynamic list of “best routers” via google docs or something that we can see?? You put out so much content, I can’t keep up. I was still thinking about getting the Xe75 PRO but you’ve reviewed like 20 more routers since then.
That bike is built like a tank! I've just bought 3 ebikes or I'd have considered it. Thanks for the review!
No problem 👍
would you go this over the tp link be900 and would this be the best standalone router at moment ?
Tough choice but this might be the best as of now. I will do a router comparison and look at the numbers more closely to see but this one is pretty amazing
@@landpet either way not much in it ?
does this work if i have a 2 in 1 modem/router combo?
If you disable that router or if you run this deco in access point mode
